My name is Megan, I’m 26 years old, and I live in beautiful Wilmington, NC.
I grew up in a small town along the coast of Lake Michigan, where my love for beachcombing began. Back then, sharks weren’t on my radar — instead, I collected colorful pieces of beach glass with my mom. Now that I live on the coast of North Carolina, I’ve traded fresh water for salt water and developed a huge love for the ocean.
JAWS Jewelry Co. started from my hobby of shark tooth hunting — and yes, I personally find every shark tooth that goes into my jewelry. Over time, I became fascinated with sharks, the role they play in our ecosystem, and the importance of protecting them. That’s why I donate 10% of monthly profits to shark conservation.
Recently, I made the leap from working in healthcare to running JAWS full-time while also pursuing marketing. It’s been incredible to turn my hobbies and passions into a business, and I’m so grateful for the support.
